How Matt Palentchar Makes Legal Clients Happy

June 25, 2017

Matt Palentchar became tired of the atmosphere in a law firm relatively quickly after passing the bar more than a dozen years ago, which is why he formed and ran Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., from 2005 through 2010. He would have continued, but he contracted a life-threatening illness that, along with a few other personal issues, forced him to leave Florida for a time and recuperate. However, Matt is tough as nails, so he was soon back in Florida, where he formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg.

It is true that Matt Palentchar’s latest firm bearing his name has a more specific focus on real estate transactions and property law than was the case previously. His clients these days tend to be lenders, purchasers and sellers and they hire him to help them complete complex commercial transactions. That said, Matt will do whatever is necessary to make clients happy, so he can also be found performing many of the other more mundane tasks for clients, including performing title searches and title exams, and issuing title insurance for residential and commercial closings. He is a client-oriented attorney and has been since he became one.

Matthew Palentchar has been practicing law in Florida for more than a decade, in a number of practice areas. His current law practice specializes in real estate, but he also dabbles in corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law, among several other areas of the law. After earning his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University in 2004, Matt Palentchar moved to Florida and passed the bar exam. Soon, he joined a general practice law firm in Naples, where he did almost every type of law imaginable.

He soon tired of that, which led him to form Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran from 2005 through 2010, when a life threatening illness and other issues forced him to leave Florida for a time. Before long, however, he displayed his toughness and overcame all that. He returned to Florida and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Matt also likes to spend his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for children who need help.

There was a time, when Matthew Palentchar grew up in Colonia, New Jersey, that he spent so much time playing sports like baseball, football and soccer that no one could imagine that he would one day become a high-powered real estate attorney. That was a long time ago. These days, Matt has more than a decade of legal experience to draw upon and a good education, as well. He is now a very accomplished lawyer, with his own form Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Matt Palentchar lives in St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife Heather and their two dogs and his current law firm is focused primarily on real estate transactions and general commercial and residential property law. He also does a lot of routine real estate work, such as those actions related to titles, like searches, exams and issuing insurance. However, Matt Palentchar is also highly regarded for his representation of hundreds of lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions.

It took a long time to get where he is now. Following high school, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in political science from Rutgers. Following that, he obtained a scholarship to attend law school at Ohio Northern University, which is where he earned his Juris Doctor, or law degree. That is when Matt Palentchar headed straight for Florida, passed the bar and started what is now a great legal career that has stretched over more than a decade so far. Currently a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Matthew Palentchar also likes to help others. A lot of what little spare time he has is spent as a volunteer with CASA, where he acts as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children.
